Reporting Copyright Infringement

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

Your Counter-Notification Must Include:

  1. A clear identification of the material that was removed or access to which was disabled.
  2. The URL where the content appeared before it was removed.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your judicial district.
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.
  7. Your electronic or physical signature.

What Happens After You File a DMCA Notice or Counter-Notice?

  • Upon receiving a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within 48 to 72 hours.
  • We will notify the user responsible for the content and provide them with a copy of your takedown notice.
  • If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will reinstate the removed content within 10-14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a legal injunction.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, TrueTechReview has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our website and/or terminate user accounts without notice for infringing the intellectual property rights of others.

False Claims Warning

Submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice can lead to legal and financial consequences. The DMCA requires all claims to be made in good faith and under penalty of perjury.
